Help Feature guide

Quick guide to the main BoostBoard tools and what each one is for.

Move: Select and drag cars or the ball. Selected cars can rotate with the arrow keys or the rotation handle.
Draw: Freehand draw coaching notes, lanes, pressure zones, or rotation reminders on top of the board.
Arrow: Draw straight directional arrows for passes, challenges, clears, rotations, or player intent.
Path: Coach tool. Tap a car or ball, drag its dotted route, or Ctrl-click multiple stops. Undo path reverts the last route change.
Erase: Remove drawings, arrows, and paths by dragging over them without moving cars or resetting the board.
Pieces: Add another ball, remove a selected marker, and scale cars or the ball from the Pieces folder.
Kickoff locations: Paid presets that place cars into common kickoff starts. Moving a car makes the setup custom.
Map guides: Show optional rotation overlays like goal lanes or refill paths so players can learn efficient movement.
FOV cones: Toggle transparent vision cones in front of every car. They stay attached while cars move, rotate, or play animated paths.
Saved plays: Save board layouts on this device, rename slots, and reload them later for fast lesson setup.
Coach library: Coach tool. Save plays under a coach name and copy share codes players can open on their own board.
Record lesson: Coach tool. Record board movement and optional microphone narration, then save or share the video file.
Export PNG: Create a still image of the current board for Discord, notes, thumbnails, or quick coaching feedback.
Mobile controls: Use the bottom dock for core tools. Open Controls to reach folders, saved plays, guides, and coach features.
Keybinds: Open Keybinds to change desktop shortcuts. Click a shortcut box, press the new key, and it autosaves.
