Recent alpha notes for testers, coaches, and anyone wondering what changed since their last refresh.

Cleaned up Profile Hub for real accounts: the normal flow is now login, profile info, cloud folders, and account cloud plays. The old alpha private-key fallback is tucked under Advanced.
Cleaned up the left controls: What's New is now first, Settings contains Help and Keybinds, and Board Setup contains board guides, kickoff presets, and pieces.
Connected Google/Supabase accounts to real cloud play saves: signed-in coaches can save, list, open, copy, and delete account-owned cloud plays.
Cloud share links now open Supabase account plays first, while the older alpha Cloudflare codes remain as a fallback for existing testers.
Cloud links like /play/BB-ABC123 now auto-load the shared play instead of only working when pasted manually.
Started the real Supabase account foundation: email login UI, signed-in profile syncing, and safer env setup for web/mobile builds.
Added the app-side Google login button so social sign-in is ready once Google OAuth credentials are connected in Supabase.
Added a top-right Profile Hub for avatar uploads, creator info, account folders, and future profile pages.
Improved Coach view on wide desktop monitors so the board uses more of the available screen.
Verified the Cloudflare Worker API and D1 database are live for alpha cloud profiles and share codes.
Added a web update notice that tells open browser sessions when a newer BoostBoard version is live.
Added this What's New tab so testers can quickly see recent changes after refreshes.

Recent alpha updates Coach tools

Improved path creation with click-to-place route points, drag-to-free-draw paths, endpoint extension, and selected-path highlighting.
Added smart ball contact, car redirects, wall bounces, net stopping, and adjustable ball interaction limits.
Added car FOV cones, scroll-wheel car rotation, kickoff presets, keybind editing, and collapsible side panels.

Move: Select and drag cars or the ball. Selected cars can rotate with the arrow keys or the rotation handle.
Draw: Freehand draw coaching notes, lanes, pressure zones, or rotation reminders on top of the board.
Arrow: Draw straight directional arrows for passes, challenges, clears, rotations, or player intent.
Path: Coach tool. Tap a car, ball, or path to choose it. Click corners for sharp turns, drag to free-draw, or drag the endpoint circle to extend.
Smart contact: Coach tool. When no ball path is drawn, car hitboxes can move the ball. A 1x car path uses RL-style top speed, higher car path speeds hit harder, and the ball slows, bounces, or stops in net from that speed.
Erase: Remove drawings, arrows, and paths by dragging over them without moving cars or resetting the board.
Board setup: Use one folder for map guides, kickoff presets, FOV cones, piece scaling, extra balls, and selected-marker removal.
Quick saves: Private device slots for fast local saves. These stay on this browser or app install and do not create share codes.
My library + codes: Coach tool. Save shareable plays, copy codes for players, or open a code from another coach.
Profile Hub: Use the top-right profile circle to manage your picture, creator name, cloud handle, and future folders or coach search.
Record lesson: Coach tool. Record board movement and optional microphone narration, then save or share the video file.
Export PNG: Create a still image of the current board for Discord, notes, thumbnails, or quick coaching feedback.
Mobile controls: Use the bottom dock for core tools. Open Controls to reach folders, saved plays, guides, and coach features.

Keybinds Click a shortcut box, press the new key or combo, and BoostBoard saves it automatically.

Use this folder for plays you want to reuse or share. Local saves stay on this device; cloud saves create short links backed by BoostBoard.

Profile + cloud account Open your profile page for avatar, creator name, handle, login, and folders.

1. Save or share this board Choose a cloud folder, then save locally, save to cloud, or copy a one-time local code.

Creator name is managed from the Profile Hub. Saved plays and share codes use that profile info.
